I have just been reading your website about the early days at Matala and the hippies who were living in the caves (tombs). At the moment, I am currently on Crete, where I have been since the first of July. I will leave Crete on September 30 to return to my home in the USA. While I have been here on Crete, I went on a search for Matala’s last hippie - Scotty. I have a blog on which I have posted an extensive commentary along with photographs based on two separate interviews with Scotty. I think you might find it interesting.
